MRA Names Vinyl & Composite Window BICA Winners
Integrity Windows & Doors, Renewal by Andersen and Simonton Windows have been named Best in Class Award winners by Market Resource Associates, based on the results of the firm’s most recent market research study focusing on vinyl and composite products. The three manufacturers were singled out based on the ratings of nearly 1,000 builders, remodelers, distributors and lumberyards surveyed by MRA this spring.

Marvin Window & Door’s Integrity line scored highest overall and receives the BICA as the overall top-rated, non-wood/clad-wood brand, the Minneapolis-based firm reports. Renewal by Andersen was honored as the top-rated composite and Simonton as the top-rated vinyl brand.

The MRA study, to be highlighted in the August issue of Window & Door, gathered input from 997 builders, remodelers, window dealers and building product retailers. They were surveyed regarding brands purchased and their window selection criteria. Window and door brands are ranked in 20 different product and service-related attributes.

In addition to the most recent study covering vinyl and composite windows, MRA also conducts regular surveys on wood and clad/wood brands and exterior doors.
