BWI Expanding with Addition of Two New Facilities
Bridgewater Wholesalers Inc., a distributor of interior and exterior doors in the Northeast, is opening two new locations, in Massachusetts and North Carolina. Both operations are designed to enable the company to expand into new markets.

In Leominster, Mass., BWI has acquired a 158,000-square-foot production and distribution facility acquired through an asset purchase from Masonite International Corp. The prehanging facility will service independent dealers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine.

In Greensboro, N.C., BWI is opening a distribution center strategically located to serve independent dealers throughout the state. Both facilities should be fully operational by October, according to officials.

BWI’s main product lines are Masonite interior and exterior door units; Woodgrain door products; TruStile MDF and wood doors; and Lemieux fir, primed and hardwood doors. It also carries Dixie Pacific columns and railings, Fypon urethane millwork and LJ Smith stair parts.
