Manual revolving door
Besam Entrance Solutions, division of Besam U.S., both of Monroe, N.C., added the RD4M four-wing manual door system to its revolving door product line. It features glass in slim profile doors and a curved glass outer wall that seals the building envelope to reduce energy consumption, according to a company release. Outer walls and doors are constructed of aluminum extrusions with the main shaft constructed of steel. Doors come with tubular push bars, and the door leafs can be folded out in the direction of egress by simply pushing on the doors. The RD4M has a speed control unit that prevents the doors from being rotated at a faster rate than allowed by building codes, and meets American National Standards Institute standards, according to the release. It is available in paint to match clear and dark bronze anodized finishes, as well as No. 8 mirror stainless steel finish.
