Electric strikes
Adams Rite Manufacturing Co. of Pomona, Calif., launched UltraLine 7400 series electric strikes that are compact, with 1 1/16-inch overall depth, and have a stainless steel split-jaw with more than 2,000 pounds of holding force, according to a company release. They have a single solenoid that operates on 12, 16 or 24 volt alternating current or direct current, and can be fail-secure or fail-safe. Compatible with narrow stile, key in knob and rim exit devices latches, the strikes can retrofit previous Adams Rite 7500, 7800, 7000 and 7100 strikes. The Ultraline 7400 series exceeds American National Standards Institute/Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association Grade 1 standards, according to the release.
