Sales increase forcasted for German machinery

The German construction equipment and building material machinery industry is projected to reach sales of $18.4 billion for 2007, 15 percent more than in 2006, according to the Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau - German Engineering Federation, according to a July 5 VDMA release.

The construction equipment industry would acheive $14.6 billion and building material, ceramics and glass machinery would make $4.8 billion by the end of this year, according to the release. Read the full release here.
