Walker Glass’ acid-etched glass finish

Walker Glass of Montreal launched Velour, an addition to its Walker Textures line, according to a company release. Velour is an acid-etched glass finish with a translucent satin appearance that features a smooth surface and lower light transmittance, providing a higher level of opacity. The finish is available on glass in sizes from 60 inches by 100 inches up to 100 inches by 144 inches, and in tints including clear, bronze, grey, black, green, blue and ultra-clear. It comes in thicknesses ranging from .12 inch to .75 inch, depending on the tint. The company’s increased production capacity allows for immediate shipping, according to the release.
