Kyro reports $266.7 million in net sales for 2006

Officials from Finland’s Kyro Corp. announced the company achieved net sales of $266.7 million in 2006, according to a Feb. 7 company release.

Operating profits for the year reached $23 million for Kyro, the parent company for Glaston Technologies that includes Tamglass of Finland, and Bavelloni of Italy.

Comparable profit before taxes reached $21.9 million, and the company reported $22.4 million in profit after taxes, equaling earning per share of $0.28, according to the release.

As of Dec. 31, the company had $140.7 million on the order books, with $108.8 million coming from Glaston companies, according to the release.
