Saint-Gobain enters partnership to produce photovoltaics
The flat glass business of French glassmaker Saint-Gobain, Saint-Gobain Vitrage, has entered a 50/50 joint venture with Shell Erneuerbare Energien GmbH of Germany to produce and sell photovoltaic panels, according to a Nov. 27 Saint-Gobain release.
