NGA Glass Conference Starts Today

The online interactive event kicked off this morning to a record pre-registration count of nearly 500. NGA’s President & CEO Nicole Harris opened the event with a State of the Association address, reflecting on NGA’s response to COVID-19 to help its 1,700 member companies, the glass industry’s “essentialness” in the face of the pandemic and Black Lives Matter protests, and how NGA is pivoting to continue to deliver on its purpose and vision. The NGA Glass Conference will continue through Thursday, July 30, with 14 education sessions and a report from NGA’s Advocacy Committee. Want to join? Register Here

Re-evaluating Relationships in a Rapidly Changing World

The recent developments in the world have forced most of us to rethink many of our habits and processes. We are re-evaluating the way we do almost everything. This has been dramatic across the board, and we can all relate to the stress something like this can cause. That being said, I want to look for the silver lining. How might this be beneficial to those of us who are willing to stop and think about it?

The NGA Glass Conference is kicking off today. If you have not looked into it yet, well it is now time you do. And of course, I’ll help you out here with some highlights. First and foremost, I have to say I was so blown away looking at the list of sponsors. The industry really stepped up here and is again with GlassBuild Connect, and that truly makes me proud.

Navajo Tribal Utility Authority's Office Blends Tubelite Systems with Culturally Inspired Design
The Navajo Tribal Utility Authority's new headquarters brings together administrative departments within its 80,000-square-foot offices located in Fort Defiance, Arizona. Dyron Murphy Architects, a Native-American owned business, said its design was inspired by Navajo cultural elements. Traditional building materials are complemented by modern, high-performance, aluminum-framed curtain wall, storefront and entrance systems manufactured by Tubelite Inc. and installed by Southwest Glass & Glazing.
