This past week, the first of the 2018 construction economic forecasts was released and there was tepid optimism with regards to the nonresidential side of the business. Basically, some of the analysts are pushing a small increase on the commercial side, not exceeding 5 percent overall.

The Troubadour, a 184-room luxury boutique hotel, is part of the heart and history of downtown New Orleans. After a 1972 fire, the hotel was renovated and reopened in December 2016. Design goals included replicating the original appearance of the historic building while withstanding the city’s extreme heat and hurricane potential. Read more...
