Exit Planning and Succession VII: Contingency Planning FAQs
Contingency planning is a critical yet often neglected aspect of protecting a business. This process addresses what will happen to a business, an owner’s business stock, and an owner’s family if he or she dies, suffers illness or injury, or simply chooses to leave the business. This article offers contingency planning FAQs that provide an in-depth look at buy-sell agreements, their scope and their importance to a company’s long-term success.
 
The National Glass Association and the Glass Association of North America held the first joint task force meeting in late February to discuss a possible combination of the two industry trade associations. Discussion focused on combining the unique elements from both associations that would create a new organization re-invigorated with the strongest and most effective attributes of each.

The Long Island Marriott, the largest hotel on Long Island, lies directly adjacent to the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum arena. The window replacement in the hotel's 618 rooms is part of a planned $25 million, two- to three-year renovation which also includes the hotel lobby, bar and other interior areas.
