487 Series Demountable Office Partition System with Integrated Slider from CRL-U.S. Aluminum

The 487 Series Office Partition System is now available with an integrated top-hung sliding door option that saves valuable floor space compared to conventional pivoting systems. The narrow stile, fully-framed door provides enhanced acoustical performance (STC) using minimal metal. The system also accommodates both wood and all-glass doors. 

The integrated slider is the latest addition to the company’s robust portfolio of office partition systems. Its purpose is to help glaziers better compete in the Division 10 demountable partition market.

Built in 1952, the 35 buildings of the Pomonok complex are part of the New York City Housing Authority system and now house over 4,200 residents. A massive window replacement project involving the installation of almost 11,000 aluminum units is nearing completion in 16 buildings in the northern half of the Pomonok Houses complex in Flushing, New York.  Read more...
