As the labor market continues to tighten and more of the nation's 78 million-plus Baby Boomers head into retirement, construction firms will need to sharpen their hiring and recruiting pencils. Yet, employers might be missing the mark when it comes to employee retention and engagement in the construction workforce, especially in regards to Millennials.

Rogers Memorial Hospital–Brown Deer, Wisconsin, celebrated its completed renovation in April 2015. Brown Deer is the first Rogers facility to incorporate biophilia into its design. Biophilia design recognizes the way humans have an emotional connection to nature and to natural forms, aiding a patient’s healing process.
