Technology Upgrade: Vitrum Glass Group sees operations transform with ERP integration


How does a glass company that processes more than 1,000 truckloads of glass every year for insulating, laminating, tempering and more, fully transition to a plant-wide, integrated computer system without negatively affecting production, delivery or customer service? Two years ago, leaders at Vitrum Glass Group, vitrum.ca, decided to find out.

The new Isono & Vasco Restaurants in Hong Kong use glass and the play of light to create space and privacy on the interior. Decorative, clear glass flanks the walkway façade on the second floor overlooking the entire restaurant below. Patrons dining on the top floor—Vasco Restaurant—are treated to an impressive three-dimensional glass walkway, while those below in Isono get the grand scope of the entire glass façade.
