Acid-etched glass from D.A. Glass

D.A. Glass America now produces its acid-etched glass product, OcuMatte, in the United States. Produced in a vertical position, OcuMatte can be fabricated for single- or double-sided etching, cleanly and efficiently, D.A. Glass officials report. The modification of the glass is done without the use of rollers, sandblasters or lasers, making it durable and consistent. Available in a variety of sizes, up to 96 inches by 130 inches, and thicknesses up to ¾-inch thick, OcuMatte’s opacity is adjustable depending on the desired application for the glass, according to company officials.
