Historic renovations of the iconic Chelsea Hotel in Manhattan have been underway since 2011. Built between 1883 and 1885, the 12-story red brick Chelsea Hotel has been a mecca for famous artists, writers, musicians and other cultural figures for more than 125 years. It is designated a New York City landmark and is on the National Register of Historic Places. As part of the renovation, most recently the hotel received 400 replacement double-hung and picture windows. Read more...
