Two channel glass elevators greet patrons of Lincoln Center’s new Claire Tow Theater, transporting them from the Vivian Beaumont Theater lobby onto the roof, where the LCT3 theater is located. The structural properties of channel glass allowed H3 Hardy Architects to achieve the 21 ½-foot-tall elevator shaft opening in a high-wind load area, with minimal hidden inside support. Read more...
