The Architectural Billings Index bounced back in May after a very bad April. Combine that with a positive business attitude, and you have a nice little moment happening. I know we are not close to the "good ole days" but we are surely in a better place than we have been.

Architects of the new San Francisco City College Chinatown/North Beach campus originally wanted to place a sculpture in front of the 14-story building. Space constraints and city zoning laws prevented them from doing so, prompting designers to opt instead for a curtain wall that doubles as an art installation. Read more...
