ASI reopens to finish Barclays Center; faces lawsuit

While ASI Ltd. reopened last month to complete fabrication of steel panels for the Barclays Center, it now faces a lawsuit for failing to give adequate notification of the December shutdown.

Viracon to upgrade Statesboro, Ga., facility in anticipation of market recovery
Fabricator will invest $4 million to $7 million to refurbish manufacturing equipment and upgrade building infrastructure, and will scale back production at the facility during the six-month rebuild period.  


Glass Magazine expands awards program; now accepting nominations
Glass Magazine has changed the name and scope of its popular Crystal Achievement Awards program to include a people component and an online industry-wide voting system.
