Library renovation with historic windows earns LEED 

In May 2009, renovation was completed on Pittsburg (Kan.) State University’s Porter Hall, the original student library. The project received a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design remodel certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. An interior trim system and extended exterior leg were used for exterior installation to protect the building interior.
