Dual-entry shower enclosure highlights Florida condominium

The basics: The owners of a coastal Florida condominium wanted openness and convenience with their large glass-enclosed shower, with dual entries. The enclosure received one of the top awards in the 2006-2007 Design Awards from the Bath Enclosure Manufacturers Association of Topeka, Kan. The winners will receive awards at BEMA’s Annual Membership Meeting Sept. 11 in Atlanta, in conjunction with GlassBuild America.
The players:
 Fabrication, installation and design, Mr. Shower Door, Naples, Fla.; hardware, Custom Hardware Manufacturing Inc., Keokuk, Iowa..

The glass and systems:
˝-inch clear glass for all parts of the enclosure, except where the shower fixtures attach, and the CHMI mini clip and Pivot 1 hinge systems.
