U-M Opens a New Cardiovascular Center

 The basics: On June 11, the University of Michigan Health System opened its doors to the new Cardiovascular Center in Ann Arbor. The five-story, 350,000-square-foot building contains 19 operating rooms and 48 inpatient rooms, with sky-bridges connecting to the main University Hospital and C.S. Mott’s Children’s Hospital.

The glass: Guardian’s SunGuard SN 68 is on a clear substrate with a low-emissivity coating that provides 68 percent visible light transmission with a winter night time U-Value of .29 and a solar heat gain coefficient of .38. |
